Licensed Psychologist (PA)
Philadelphia, PA 19119
My practice is devoted to helping individuals transform their experience of grief, due to an anticipated or actual death of a loved one. What may appear to be depression or anxiety may be symptoms of a complicated or delayed grief process. I have expertise in the most up to date models and research validated treatment interventions (Complicated Grief Therapy) to help you honor your grief process and find new meaning in your living. If you have a loved one currently in hospice care, I can work with you to help you manage your feelings of anticipatory grief and honor the relationship between you and your loved one before the transition.
For healing to occur, training and expertise are important, but the relationship between the client and psychotherapist is even more paramount. A client must feel that the psychotherapist is trustworthy, nonjudgmental, and genuinely cares about them.
I am that psychotherapist. I am also multiculturally competent regarding race, ethnicity, gender identity, and sexual orientation.
I offer individual psychotherapy online (via the WeCounsel platform) and in my home office in Northwest Philadelphia. I also offer 12 week grief therapy groups in my home office.
