About Me

Mind Shine was founded by Sabriya Sharif-Hanifa. She is a Licensed Substance Abuse counselor (A). She created Mind Shine because, she noticed how medications had many side effects, and sometimes did not fully releive the patients symptoms. She wanted remission to be possible. Mind Shine offers Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation or TMS therapy, to treat patients with Major Depression.

Experience

Sabriya Sharif-Hanifa is the owner and CEO of Mind Shine. She has a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. She is also Licensed as a Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS-A). She has 15 years of experience in the mental health field and enjoys conducting therapy in Spanish. Sabriya is fluent in both Spanish and English, and can read and write in both languages. She has experience working as a therapist in many agencies within North Carolina.

Ella es también una licencia como adicciones especialista clínico (LCAS-A). Ella tiene 15 años de experiencia en el campo de la Salud Mental y disfruta realizando terapia en Español. Sabriya es fluente en español e inglés y puede leer y escribir en ambos idiomas. Ella tiene experiencia en el trabajo como terapeuta en muchos companias en Carolina del Norte.

Education

Sabriya Sharif-Hanifa, MS, LCAS-A has earned a Licensed Addictions Specialist and holds a Master's degree in mental health counseling from Walden university (2011). She also has a bachelor's degree in psychology from Shaw University in 2000.
