About Me

I have been married for 36 years and raised two stepchildren and have four grandchildren. I understand the difficulties and complexities of a blended family, but also have a passion to help individuals mend relationships and make good decisions. Boundaries is a tough issue for a lot of people (young and old) and I am confident in helping people learn how important boundary setting can be.

I empower and help women in transition who are looking to grow and change. (Divorce, death, job and career change, getting married, etc). Issues of self-esteem can undermine efforts in relationships and life ambition.

I care deeply about my clients and their well being and strive to listen to their needs and as a team, we develop the therapeutic treatment plan together. Answering these questions is always a good place to start: How did I get here, but more importantly, where do I want to go?

Give me a call and let's chat. See if I am a good fit for you.

I am licensed in two states; California and Arizona, and can see clients on-line through WeCounsel here. Those in the Tucson, Arizona area can be seen face-to-face.

I had a private practice from 2012-2015 in Simi Valley, CA before moving to Arizona. Prior to 2012 I interned in community-based clinics as well as private practice receiving experience and a broad education.

I have a heart for women in transition (divorce, new career, loss of spouse, leaving home or going back to school, etc) and healing marital relationships through respect and love. I can work from a faith-based viewpoint with clients requesting same, but I respect all religions of my clients. I have received training in Emotionally Focused Therapy and Gottman for marriages, and am both a Prepare-Enrich and SYMBIS facilitator for those wishing to use an assessment to aid in identifying the issues that can be present in pre-marriage or in long-term marriage. Soon I will be adding Havening Techniques for those clients who have experienced trauma (recently or in the past).

For those in California, or in other locations within Arizona, on-line therapy is effective for those who have hard time getting into regular sessions or who travel.
