Brandie is a licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), specializing in individual and couples therapy and maintains a private practice in south Austin, TX.
Brandie is a relational, EMDR trained, strengths-based therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
In addition to being in private practice, Brandie is a consultant for the Texas National Guard Family Support Foundation. She genuinely enjoys working with the military and their families.
With over 11 years experience in the mental health field, and as a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, specializing in trauma-focused therapies, she is currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are trauma, post traumatic stress disorder, depression, grief and loss, anxiety, and chronic pain.
Brandie Graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2012 with her Master of Science in Social Work Degree. Additionally, Brandie has become an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) trained clinician.
