About Me

Welcome to my site!

My approach to psychotherapy is practical, integrative, and collaborative. In my comfortable office setting,

I will provide you with some highly effective tools to help you work through your distress and meet your goals.

We will activate your inner resources so that you may lead a more fulfilling life based on your values and personal vision.

I offer a very personalized approach to therapy that is tailored to your individual strengths, your unique personality, and your specific needs.

My experience includes working with adolescents and adults for over 20 years as a psychotherapist.

During that time, I have learned that "one size doesn't fit all"- and that integrating several therapies in a synergetic manner is far more effective than applying merely one therapy model to every individual and applying the same therapy model in every case.

In fact, I regularly draw from a combination of traditional psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapies along with newer therapies, such as EMDR and EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) that incorporate the the body as well in order to achieve deeper and longer-lasting healing and wellness.

As an adjunct professor at Fordham University's Graduate School of Social Service, I currently teach courses on clinical practice to the next generation of clinicians.

I invite you to call or email me for a free consultation today.
