About Me

I enjoy spending time with my two teen-aged sons, gardening, playing with my dog and West African drumming. I enjoy watching movies and reading. I also enjoy long walks and bike rides as time allows.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (2010) and a Distance Credentialed Counselor (2014). From 2006-2014 my work included in-home crisis counseling for parents and children of all ages. Through the in-home work, I gained experience providing quality counseling to an enormous diversity of individuals, couples and families on issues such as parenting, teen behavior, substance abuse issues, anxiety and depression. Since 2014 I have been in full-time private practice providing face-to-face and distance counseling primarily to adults.
