Doctor of Medicine (FL, CO, NY)
I am a physician and educator in the fast-growing field of integrative and preventive medicine, focusing on a comprehensive approach to health promotion and stress relief.
After working for the New York City Department of Health and as an Emergency Department physician in three hospitals in California, I established one of the most innovative preventive and integrative family practice clinics in New York City, where I specialized in natural medicine, clinical nutrition and stress management.
I have been an integral part of developing cooperative partnerships with local businesses and civic associations around the concept of a healthy community through the non-profit 501(c)3 Rocky Mountain Resource Network that I founded in Denver, Colorado in 2005
After relocating to Naples, Florida in 2015, I offer services in my Naples office as well as through this internet consulting platform.
After 47 years in the medical and health profession, I am committed to providing scientifically-based integrative and functional medicine healthcare, and proven stress management strategies that can transform your health and well-being.
My pre-medical education began as a Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude graduate of Amherst College in 1966.
I graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons as a member of the International Fellows Program at the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs and a Edward John Noble Foundation Fellowship recipient.
I completed my post-graduate training at Denver General Hospital in 1971, where I first began researching preventive healthcare and methods for reducing the risk of serious disease.
In the mid-nineties, I studied Health Promotion and Disease Prevention at Columbia University School of Public Health.
