About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor specializing in individuals, couples and family therapy, and maintain a private practice in Libertyville, IL.

As an experienced therapist, and a graduate of the Illinois School of Professional Psychology specializing in psychodynamic psychotherapy, I currently am a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are EMDR work with trauma and other obstacles to enjoying a fulfilling life, and working with the challenges of the emotional sensitivities of the gifted/talented.

In addition to being a prominent therapist in the area, I present to general audiences speaking on the topics of bullying, parenting, the emotional sensitivities of the gifted/talented, book topics and stigma to name a few.


I am an interactive, solution-focused therapist. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
