Licensed Master Social Worker (GA)
I appreciate an individual's unique characteristics, and tailor my approach in therapy to each client's needs. When life feels unbalanced, it touches every aspect of your existence, even your closest relationships. Experience has taught me that we all communicate to be understood, and that real healing begins when we work to understand our feelings and grow comfortable discussing them. Your emotional wellness is the most important aspect of a good life, and the most important gift you can share. Happiness is a choice.
I use a variety of treatments, including mindfulness and self-awareness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and solution-focused therapy. Each approach is strength-based and client-centered. I help families, couples, and individuals with issues such as anxiety, adjustment, depression, and grief.
Choosing the right therapist is a key decision, and one that can affect the outcome of therapy. I've counseled individuals in church settings since 1987. Financial considerations will be made for individuals with barriers to mental health access.
