Registered LPC Intern (OR)
My approach is person-centered with a blend of existential, mind-body, grief and trauma-informed techniques. This means that as your counselor I will help facilitate a healing and collaborative counselor-client relationship by providing unconditional acceptance, honesty, empathy, caring and understanding, and promoting trust. I believe that the client is the expert on their own life and I respect your autonomy to choose your own life path and solutions with the assistance and support of the counseling relationship. I will provide a safe and comfortable environment for you to explore and progress at the pace that is right for you. I will utilize creativity and therapeutic techniques from a variety of perspectives that fit with your individual needs. I provide creative, expressive arts, traditional, flexible e-counseling and spiritual therapies to help clients find insight, empowerment, growth and healing. I do not focus on diagnosing and fixing issues, instead I believe in healing the whole self through the safety and connection of the therapeutic relationship.
I specialize in helping people heal from anxiety, depression, past traumas, and losses and finding their purpose. I have extensive experience with Highly Sensitive People as well as foster and adoptive family issues.

I offer individual counseling services to people of all ages and for children as young as 3 years old, however most children must be seen in person unless otherwise agreed upon.
I offer video, phone, email and chat counseling for those who do not live in the area or who feel that the traditional office setting is not the right fit for them.
Highly Sensitive Adults and Children
As a Highly Sensitive Person myself I will work with you to help you understand your sensitivity, reduce your overwhelm and heal from past wounds. Whether you have known your highly sensitive your whole life, have just discovered or suspect you might be, or if you believe your child is highly sensitive, my services and support are here to meet your needs. People who are sensitive to their environment often develop severe anxiety and depression and even panic attacks, I am here to help you heal, take back your life and find your path to move forward.
This is an excellent fit for spiritual, intuitive and sensitive people. I combine spiritual techniques with mental health counseling for growth and insight, treating the whole person.
Childhood Trauma, Foster Care and Adoption
I also specialize in helping children heal from trauma, promoting healthy attachments and transitioning from foster care to adoption. This is also great for adults who were adopted as children and are looking for specialized support. For parents and families of children in foster care and adoption, I offer counseling and support as well.
