About Me

Are you living the life you want to live?

A great deal of life is spent trying to eliminate challenges we are struggling with. As your therapist, I want to help you develop goals, strategies, and skills to achieve the changes you are seeking.

I want to provide you therapy that not only fits your life, but ultimately gives you the skills and ability to live out the life you want to live.

"You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them." Maya Angelou

I offer email, phone, and teleconference sessions. In addition, you may opt for a 6 week class that is solution-focused and short term, to work on one specific area. These classes are a combination of individual work via email as well as sessions with me via phone or video. We can work together to customize a plan that fits both the time you have available, as well as your budget.

I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and families.

Individual sessions include work on: anxiety, depression, life changes, grief and loss, stress management, improvement of health, ADHD, personal growth, self esteem, self-harm, chronic illness, sexuality, sexual abuse, women's issues and dating/relationship matters at all ages and stages of life.

Couple sessions are for dating, pre-marital and married couples. They include work on: compatibility, feelings of frustration, resentment, hopelessness, betrayal, infertility issues, life stage changes, improved communication, rebuilding trust, enhancing intimacy and strengthening commitment.

Family sessions include: improving communication, parenting strategies, family of origin, blended families, separation/divorce, and custody issues.

Much of what you will learn during our time together is practical information, which can be readily used to help you live a more rational, meaningful and satisfying life.
